For plants with differing water needs, consider using a combination of staked-drippers and micro bubblers. Because they allow fine-tuning of flow rates, these handy devices allow the most options for watering customization. They can be routed easily with 1/4" Drip tubing to the root zone of individual plants. For drippers, select low flow-rate types (0.5 or 1.0 GPH) for plants that need less than 1 gallon of water per week after the early stages. Use higher flow-rate drippers (2.0 GPH or 5.0 GPH) and micro bubblers for plants that need more water.

1. Attach to faucet

Attach to an outdoor faucet to regulate flow for drip watering devices.

TIP: For easier installation, cut the tape holding the tubing coils and place in the sun for one hour to help unroll them before installation.

2. Run tubing to plants

Run water from the faucet adapter to your planting bed.

Branch off of the 1/2" tubing to run water to your plants.

3. Attach watering devices

The watering devices are clog-resistant and specifically designed to provide dependable watering of all plants, helping ensure consistent growth, better vegetable yields, and resistance to disease.

Drippers

Drippers, sometimes called spot-watering emitters, provide a slow drip of water to the base of each plant or cluster of plants. You can also place two drippers in a container if needed to water larger surface areas. Available in 1 gallon per hour (GPH) and 2 gallons per hour (GPH) flow rates.

Micro Sprays

Micro Sprays are ideal for taller plants such as shrubs and bushes and for use in flower beds and ground cover where you may want broader coverage. Available in full or half-circle patterns, these sprays adjust from 0 to 10 ft. throw, allowing you to water multiple plants or dense plantings.

Micro Bubblers

For more precise watering of multiple plantings, Micro Bubblers are a great solution for shrubs, trees, and flower beds. Easily adjust the spray distance from 0 to 3 ft. and flow rate from 0 to 13 gallons per hour at 30 PSI by simply twisting the cap.
