Compatible Valves

The ESP-BAT-BT works with Rain Bird DV, DVF, ASVF, PGA, PEB, PESB, EFB-CP, BPE, and BPES series valves when used with the TBOSPSOL DC latching solenoid.

Compatible Accessories

The ESP-BAT-BT can operate competitive valves using a compatible 9V DC-latching solenoid. Or install a Rain Bird TBOSPSOL 9V DC-latching solenoid using the appropriate adapter.

Rain Bird offers a black adapter for select plastic valves from Irritrol, Hardie/Richdel, and Buckner, and a brown adapter for select Champion and Superior brass valves.

The ESP-BAT-BT has a direct shutoff sensor connection that supports compatible contact sensors, including third-party rain, soil, or other shutoff sensors. Rain Bird offers the RSD-BEx rain shutoff device for this connection. Sensor shutoff can be configured globally or by individual station.
